Have lost two boxes due to the weather

Completely agree.heavy crates and issues such as windy days like today-bottles everywhere

The small ones fill up to quick and would be easier for the bin men....

The green recycling box's present various problems , one of being clumsy to carry, even the able bodied will find it difficult , also the most irritating of all being that of strong winds blowing the box's and scattering the contents all over the streets and rarely get picked up.

Please provide bins instead of boxes. Better all round for residents and collecting staff.

It would seem sensible to use the green bins which are not being used for garden waste for recycling glass/plastic etc. The boxes can get so heavy and hard for the elderly to put outside.

The boxes are terrible especially wen its bad weather. Also have had a box pinched. A wheelie bin like blackpool council have for bottles and cans would be better. Thanks

Boxes are a real hazard if it's a windy day, they often get blown into the road

It's obvious to anyone the green boxes are a complete waste of time. Totally impractical and then wasting council workers time by them having to empty them into wheelie bins. Which should have been used in the first place. I have not met anybody consulted or wanting stupid green boxes.

The bottle boxes end up down the street in wind and full of water when it rains. I'd welcome a bin for bottles.

Was just talking about this with a colleague at work who lives in Blackpool. A wheelie bin would be so much safer to handle, hold more ( potentially" without overflow, easier for the gunmen and prevent so much wind away in bad weather

Once the little tiny boxes are full people don't bother to recycle need a brown bin like the blue one far better idea.
