To recycle properly there is just know way our box is big enough ....bin please ...oooh and maybe there would be fewer bottles and cans blowing down the roads !

Boxes don't hold enough. Lids blow away. Boxes fill with water. Boxes more difficult to use than a wheelie bin.

Agree, our neighbours crate is always overflowing. They drink gallons of bottled water and they are all over the road on windy days.

It would help in windy weather conditions and would save extra green boxes. It would also help on busy roads where glass is kept out on the pavements on recycling days.

Agree with all comments. Also the lids are rubbish and blow away or get broken in road. Nets just let flies in (and I do rinse my recyclables)

So sick of chasing boxes when it's windy. A wheelie bin would be a much better option for everyone.

It needs to change the current system to daft!

So fed up of having to retrieve items that have blown across the gardens and roads

The crate boxes are too small, often the plastics blow out on to the road, if you want us recycling then we need a decent sized proper wheelie bin...it's also no good for disabled or elderly as too hard to lift an carry

It always seems to be a windy day when they come to collect recycling, and living in a wind trap, everyone else's rubbish collects in our garden :( Time for a change.

The boxes are ridiculous: 1) Always blowing away 2) Lids blowing off/going missing 3) simply not big enough
