The boxes are useless. They break when thrown back on the drive, they blow away and they don't hold enough for 2wks of recycling. Let's use bins and have some common sense please.

Use green bin

Three boxes gone missing, now we have none.I live near the prom and the boxes can end up down near the tram tracks when it gets windy. Please can we have a bin instead.

Good idea wheelie bins for bottles and cans work great in Blackpool and are far more efficient than the existing boxes which you can often get blown in the middle of the road with its contents scattered everywhere.

The small green bins are too heavy to carry & when it's windy they blow away

A wheelie bin would be much better as all you see is boxes over flowing or plastic bottles blowing everywhere really untidy and certainly not big enough

If we had wheelie bins for our bottles and cans then they wouldn't blow everywhere in the wind making our area cleaner

We need wheelie bins to stop the recycling items blowing around the roads,

I have problems lifting the current boxes, and they aren't robust enough for porpose

A wheelie bin is easier to move. Stops wind blowing things away.

Bottles blow all over the place the boxes are a menace

The boxes are too heavy to carry and too large. They fill with water which then pours all over you when you lift them. The lids don't stay on very well, so as well as having to carry the boxes I have to also carry heavy bricks to keep the lids in place. Add to that, we now have two boxes but it's still not enough, and the second box came with a very nature unfriendly net instead of a lid! Ridiculous. We've added our own lid but it's not a very good fit. What else...oh yes they blow over and empty very easily. Plus the binmen empty our boxes into a wheelie bin then empty that into the truck. So in conclusion, boxes are useless; wheelie bins are best for everybody. We look forward to receiving our new, full sized, wheelie bin. Thank you.

A lot better for the elderly and thoses who suffer ill health like myself

Wheelie bins will be so much better..

I struggle carrying the boxes a wheelie bin would be much easier. And also the wind blows all the plastic around the streets out of the boxes.
