Our "bin" blew away years ago ...to be replaced by our own version . Living on a hill in windy weather, overnight everything tumbles down the road spewing out its contents . When emptied (by wind or bin operatives) its a lottery trying to find it . Poor design process.

Bins would be a lot better instead of the bottle crates. I've had 3 in the last 3 years as they keep getting broken by the binmen throwing them down. There is not a lot of room either. I feel that the blue bins should be used for bottles and for cardboard we should have a bag like residents in Blackpool have

I agree with this request. Having moved from Blackpool a year ago I have found the bottle crates poor.

We have three crates and yes stuff blows out all the time and water leaks when moving to kerb. Would love a tall bin if possible and other councils have them

I have never understood why other areas have a large wheelie bin yet we only have a little green box for bottles and cans. I find this inadequate for one person so it must be dreadful for families. I have several spinal issues and just bending to carry it out on collection day is agony, this must be the same for other disabled and the elderly. Please provide us with a wheelie bin fit for purpose!

Have you seen the debris and litter everywhere when its the box collection day and its windy wyre council?the boxes are ill designed and inpractical. We need wheelie bins for the box recycling

Excellent idea. My family living in Blackpool all have the wheelie bin and do not have the problems we have such as wind turning them over, my nets or lids going missing and my crates in road.

The recycling boxes are awful. Most of the streets rubbish ends up in my garden

The current bottle bins are too small, break easily when binmen throw them about and collect water which goes all over you when you pick them up! Please replace with big wheely bins.
