Small boxes are a pain

would be easier if had tall bins wouldnt get blown over as easy in these high winds

Aye lose the crates

Living opposite the sea wall the wind causes havoc with the box lids blowing off and plastic cartons blowing all over the road

How expensive could it be to produce a big sticker to put on the green bin that this household uses it as a bottle/plastic bin instead. No need for waste operatives to sift through the bin (even though the difference between grass and bottles is obvious at a glance), just a great big sticker on the lid. I'd pay for one, I hate the filthy, leaky, scruffy crates. Those who wish to continue using their green bin for garden waste could just continue to use the crates for bottles/plastic.

I would love a bin instead of green boxes

I would prefer a bin.instead of the stupid boxes tgat way the contents dont end up all over your garden

It would be better to have a bin than a box as when it is windy which is most of the time here. When you put the boxes out, the sruff inside & the boxes just blow everywhere. while waiting for them to be collected.

I find the bins awkward to carry as l get older, also they drop water over you when you are not able to carry them at arms length, anti social in high winds allowing contents to scatter.

I agree and the amount of rubbish that is left over on bin day is ridiculous

The bins are a pain when it was windy the other week a lid flew across the road hit our car and dented it. Also there is always rubbish blows out of them.
