Before you decide NOT to do anything, please take an actual drive down this road yourself and then make a decision!

Road conditions on highway 105 are extremely hazardous. Immediate improvements are needed to ensure the safety of our residents. We do not have an alternate route.

Driving to work in snow storms is more like an adventure. I've seen 3 vehicles in the ditich in the last 2 days.......and that's just between the Goldcorp Balmer Complex and Red Lake. At work we promote safety above all else and get in our vehicles and drive home on a skating rink.

If their blade actually touched the ground it would do a better job. I watch them "high blade" very time I'm behind a plow truck. they do that because it saves them money on plow blades. mto didn't do that.

I have lived in Red Lake for 27 years and I can say without any reservations that the level of winter road maintenance on highway 105 has definitely declined in the past two years.

The communities of Red Lake and Ear Falls have no choice to use Highway 105, it is the only artery in and out of them. Most residents have to travel to Dryden for simple things that people in larger communities take for granted (shopping, health care specialists, veterinary services, etc). These roads must be kept safe.
