Residents Against Ystrad Barwig Development - New Proposals

There are far too many housing developments in the area and the infrastructure, schools, surgeries, dentists, RGH etc, simply cannot cope with more. The development will also be detrimental to current residents and the environment.

It's going to be a non stop battle I would think ,and we need everyone on board to help fight against this.

Can someone enlighten me as to how, if this planning has been denied by the Welsh assembley, Llanmoor or any other developer feel they have any chance of success, does the assembley have no authority here???? To my knowledge nothing has changed, the roads are still congested, our schools are becoming overcrowded and the last time I tried to get a doctor's appointment the earliest was a month ahead. Do we now have to plan when to be ill? Permission should not be granted for this development, no absolutely means no. Please people attend the meeting on Monday and totally support the objections.

What is happening in and around our area is frightening. Affordable housing is a guise for large developers to get their greedy hands on brown and green field areas at a cheap monitory cost to them but devastating impact on the local communities involved. SHAME ON LOCAL AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO HARD WORKING HONEST PEOPLE!!!!

This development would swamp the local area dramatically reducing the quality of life for local residents. Please reject this planning application.

We have too much housing up here with not enough amenities as it is.

Haven't enough facilities for the amount of houses already in the area.

It has been refused by the Welsh Government. Therefor it should not be allowed to go ahead. Ever.

Yet another ridiculous idea.

It's about time these developers considered local residents and stopped repeatedly putting in applications. The roads and services can't take any more and what we need is to keep agricultural and green field land for the good of the environment.

No more building. We need green fields and local infrastructure can't cope.

Crown Hill is such a busy road but is still a a B classified road .We live towards the top of the hill and cars are doing at least 40mph by the time they pass us . The extra traffic this estate would generate would be catastrophic for local residents.

Signing this as we do not have the the infrastructure in highways schools and doctors to be able.to cope with 450+ houses. Also the land is a known flood risk. Hence the precious application was denied. Nothing has changed it is still a flood risk.

I believe the development would overload the already strched infrastructure in the Llantwit Fardre area.

The road infrastructure can barely cope at the moment, this development will bring nothing but further congestion to the area
