Residents Against Ystrad Barwig Development - New Proposals

We feel all services are under to much pressure already and further development will only add to this. Pressure

We need to protect our community from inconsiderate development, we need to protect our beautiful countryside. This project will disrupt the quite life of the existing residents and destroy the countryside. Please don't let it happen

Crowded area. Local services can’t cope with current volume. Other site that are eye sores would be developed such as cwm colliery and nipa Laboratory and NOT our green countryside.

I object to this development. There is not enough infrastructure around to support more housing.

Save our countryside

I am against this proposal for many of the reasons already mentioned. Our village was by-passed to relieve congestion on the roads and improve air quality. It makes no sense therefore to build homes next to this road. Maesybryn primary school is overstretched and squeezed into the centre of a busy estate, causing traffic chaos twice every school day. More housing locally would exacerbate this problem. The community would be better served if the Cwm site were developed; this would improve this area, provide extra housing and idealy another school, Doctor's surgery, community centre etc. and not remove more of our precious countryside.

We dont have the schools or health centres for any more development

I'm against this development for the same reasons most are. The schools can't cope with class sizes already at maximum. The doctors can't cope, there's already a 4 week wait for an appointment at Parc Canol and there aren't any proposals to build more schools or surgerys. The roads aren't appropriate for the amount of traffic already using them. The bypass walk will be ruined with more houses being built and will cause unneeded disruption to the area.

I do not support more houses in this area, it will have a debtramental to the area.

This is another blight on the landscape. These will stretch the already over crowded roads, doctors, dentists, infrastructure even more.

There shouldn’t be anymore houses built This is not acceptable

They want more houses when we have a FOUR WEEK WAIT for appointments at Parc Canol!!!! What are we paying our extortionate tax and council tax rates for!?!?!?!!

Anymore houses being built in the area will add more pressure to the already stretched local facilities. Four week wait for a doctors apppointment. School class numbers rising. Long queues on bypass every morning.

Give us NHS doctors dentists and schooled first.

No more new building, we are losing more and more of our country side. There is no need to build there.

The area cannot cope with anymore people or traffic
