Residents Against Ystrad Barwig Development - New Proposals

Until the current roads/infrastructure and pressure on the public services is reduced then no further housing developments can proceed as it's squeezing the life out of the community and services involved with the already over population of the area.

This proposal is pure madness! We do not have the infrastructure to support this development and the knock on effects will be detrimental to not just the existing residents but also the wildlife, where tens of thousands of pounds have been spent putting in place measures to protect!!

I oppose this development.

A New School is not the answer for our community, kids need somewhere to walk & see widelife in this Green belt area.

Why is this Green belt area had proposal in the community and not a local brown belt site ?

The environment and what countryside we have needs to be thought about and it clearly isnt in this case.

I believe that it will put further undue pressure on the area's highway infrastructure, the area's local amenities (such as doctor and dental surgeries), and, most important of all, on the area's school facilities (both English and Welsh medium).

Greedy developers wont rest until there's not a single piece of green left..more traffic,more demands on already stretched amenities..I absolutely oppose this development!!

you have already heard all the anti-arguments about this proposed development, so i am not going to repeat them. the welsh office and the council has already denied you. do you think that by sheer repetition and total disregard for these, that you will eventually get your way. let me tell you now, YOU WONT. you may have changed the number of the property's you propose to be built, with a view to manipulating/changing the conservation laws once these houses are built, so you can then apply for further planning permission, and you may have employed top london lawyers to push this forward, but we are on to you. you can forget the emotional blackmail of '' don't you want people to have homes''. it wont wash. the only thing you care about is getting your own way, and the money. you don't care about anything else.

This is totally outrageous. The Welsh Government has already turned down this planning application.

Planners need to stop the countryside being destroyed and force builders to develop on brownfield sites, stop lining the pockets of the big builders shareholders and directors not to mention greedy landowners

We need to protect our countryside and wildlife for our future generations to enjoy.

The area is over crowded. We need to protect are greenlands and wildlife. About time these came first... not money! Pure greed. We pay highest council tax in RCT to support all the dole bums up the valleys. Our area is fine as it is. Leave us alone and go and develop up the valleys! Tra!!!!

This area is rich with wildlife and needs to be protected. Eapeshially the local brown trout and famous Llantwit otters

No more developments, the area has no infrastructure to support these developments despite many promises. NO MEANS NO

No more houses in this area.. the bypass was 30 years to late and is already congested and not just at peak times!

Can't get into the doctors as it is. Never mind building more houses. "No" should mean "NO"
