Th proposed plans calls for about 226 parking places on the Trinity Campus. Since they are projecting that the school will someday hold 400-500 students in grades 9-12, those parking spaces are just enough for the 200 students in grades 11 and 12 once they turn 17 years old and drive their own cars to school. Additional spaces, the Trinity paid traffic engineer, projects another 60-75 spaces for academic and administrative staff. Also, parking is need for visitors for sports games and performances at the performing arts building. There will be a BIG problem of spill over parking on the residential roads off of Chapel Hill Rd. and Stavola and Peachwood Rd. Matter of fact, the emergency entrance off of Stavola Rd. is closer to the classroom building than Chapel Hill Road. Cars Parked on Stavola Road and Peachwood Rd. will create a VERY DANGEROUS situation for the residents on those streets. Cars parked along all of the residential streets will make it very difficult for emergency vehicles to drive through the already narrow and winding streets. The 19 homes that have been approved for this land is a much better alternative to the school.
The elected official - instead of speaking at Trinity- should spend more time protecting constituents and the little open space left in Middletown

Chapel Hill Road & Kings Hwy have great historic roots. Whats left of these undeveloped lands should be preserved at all cost. Constructing buildings, parking lots and running tracks is simple not the right thing to do.

This is prime farmland and chapel hill rd cannot handle this traffic. It should be preserved with our open space tax money!

cant afford more traffic-safety should be considered, intersection of chapel hill and kings hwy east is already too dangerous.

I completely support the building of Trinity Hall on Chapel Hill Road. What a beautiful area that will become even more beautiful once a very carefully designed, environmentally friendly campus is integrated into this neighborhood. The school is planning to develop only part of the acreage and preserve the rest. Thank you to the founders of Trinity Hall for bringing this project to us and saving us from another development of identical houses and ruining the aesthetic appearance of our town.
