Keep it open, put the new junction in a different place. It will cause congestion and parking problems.

I believe by the closure of this road it will turn surrounding residential roads in to rat runs again, endangeringredients residents in these relatively quiet streets. Leave it alone!!

Edf do not have ownership of bridgwater and not make changes to local routes at their convenice

to close such a commonly used road is just unacceptable. People rely on Frederick road to do school run, get to college, and even the care home. Not to mention the popularity of use for carnival carts in preparation for the big event.

Just another excuse to make life more difficult for local residents. Having traffic lights there will make traffic more chaotic as it is, creating more delays on Parkway and Trevor Road. Keep Frederick Road open!

TA6 4PY Why can't there just be traffic lights put at Frederick Road junction rather than closing it. EDF taking priority over local residents yet again.

Ta6 4lt everyone please sign to stop edf ruining this town anymore than they already have so i think this town should stand up to big companies like EDF getting there own way

Rediculous idea. These roads are busy enough with traffic travelling to the College, and the traffic already parks on both sides of the surrounding roads. Forcing more traffic into these streets is just crazy!

i live there and i know nothing about this. We as residents have not been told of these road closures.

As the local ambulance first responder the closure of this junction Will delay access to life saving help in a medical emergency. Responding in Bridgwater without lights and sirens is frustrating at best, restricting this junction just adds to the already restricted access across town and potential could be a matter of life and death those seconds or minutes that are lost going around.

The old Cellophane site entrance and the other roads off Bath Road Bridgwater were all able to co-exist for many years and the same could be the case if SDC planners had instructed EDFe that their plans would only be accepted if they continued to use the old entrance. What benefit is there to Bridgwater in moving an entrance by a few yards and then forcing the closure of a well used junction?
