Residents and friends AGAINST the closure of Frederick and Bath Road junction, Bridgwater.

It's enough chaos at it is in bridgwater we don't need to add to it

It will mean a doubling of traffic trying to join Bath Road from Parkway, which because of parked cars will mean even longer queues. TA64LG

Why should edge shut the road that thousands of residents use because they want to build

This will make other roads more dangerous and congested.

The roads are bad enough in Bridgwater, with traffic & it will be worse if you shut off these to roads

This came out of the blue and sounds silly to say the least

It seems like EDF want to take over Bridgwater, a greedy French giant that needs a British David to take down the french Goliath. It has been a year since I moved out of Bridgwater and all I read about and hear from friends is how EDF are ruining peoples lives. People First not Money First Sedgemoor District and Bridgwater Town Councils! Councillors are obviously taking back handers and the useless MP is happy for it all to go ahead. Shame on you EDF!

It seems to me too much is being changed without consultation or a realistic view of traffic flow. Nor are cycle paths being included. There is more to Bridgwater than EDF traffic and work.

I recommend the junctions in the area are observed during busy morning and evening periods to confirm the residents concerns.

Don't shut frederick road access to bath road. It's the way i go everyday.

Daughter works at Sydenham house , need access to and from ? Dont want to have to drive another 1/2 mile just cos it looks pretty !!!!! Not practical , they are ruining our town with all these silly new road scemes ????.

Leave this junction open

I use this junction almost every day.

There is an existing splay (old entrance) a few yards along Bath Road that could & should be used for the entrance to the site. This would then keep Fredrick Road open or an alternative to keep it open could be a roundabout. It needs to be kept open to allow the emergency services access to the immediate areas quickly, a few seconds onto their journey could cost a life.

I cant understand why traffic lights need to be put on Bath Road & close Frederick Road when cellophane use to Employ a lot more people & no Road closure.What consultation ? I have never had a letter about it & I have lived in Fairfax Road for 25+ Years
