Residents Against the Bedrock Quarry

It seems like a strange place for a rock quarry. King's Highway is a dangerous road and I remember seeing signs on the road limiting travel to 6 tons. Tri-Axle dump trucks are 40 tons loaded. 70 trucks a day would break both sides of that road in 6 months and then the road would be even more dangerous.

I strongly urge you to reject this permit. The long term and short term effects are numerous and dangerous and have the potential to cause untold damage for years to come. Please reject this proposal full stop. Thank you

Wrong place, wrong guy. Mr. Babb's record shows that he can't be trusted... bankruptcies, open permits so he doesn't have to reclaim open pit sites, etc.

High potential for water system damage and definite lowering of my property's value if this is allowed to happen.

My family home is just down the street, I do not want to have to worry that all the hard workk my parents have done over the past 30+ years to our home gets destroyed, or ruined!! Not to mention the wild life that could be killed and displaced. No thank you!

This just can't happen.

This area is not suitable for industrial use with blasting, dust, grinders, and trucks. It is a residential/agricultural area with pristine nature. Definitely NO to the quarry!

Industrial doesn't belong on Middleton Road

We oppose the quarry. Very concerned about the impact on the entire area and Rust Pond.

This is pathetic!

This is an outrageous idea on so many counts. It should not be even considered by the zoning board.

I live on Middleton Road in Wolfeboro. Our road was finally repaired after decades of potholes, frost heaves and bumps. The heavy truck traffic on our road will increase and the abuse and wear and tear of our road will escalate to unacceptable levels. It is not fair to negatively impact the lives of we people that live on Middleton Road to benefit a person that lives else wear. Middleton Road is zoned residential. It is OUR neighborhood. NO Bedrock quarry!

This is a horrible idea that puts the profit of one person over the rights of all others.

It will be dangerous for all the children on the buses, because of the narrow roads.

Why would the town take under consideration ruining a lovely country road with trucking, blasting, noise and land destruction for any and all wildlife living here.

Please take this project elsewhere. The risk and impact is overwhelming. Lot's of rocks in other places.

We will protect our lakes and land. Start looking for a less invasive quarry site!
