I do not believe that the present infrastructure, ie. roads, doctors, schools, hospital, can tolerate another 150 houses,

In my view this proposed estate of 150 houses would be detrimental to the current road structure with narrow roads in the village and ecology of the site.

Problems that might arise if this development are more traffic congestion and school places.

I would suggest before any further planning is approved in the area of Church Village, Efail Isaf, Llantwit Fardre or Beddau that a major overhaul of the road, schools, Hospitals and Doctors Surgeries infrastructure takes place as we are already passed the saturation point.

The narrow access roads into Efail Isaf struggle to accommodate the volume of traffic at present. A further 300 or so vehicles will create chaos. Totally opposed to this development.

Another 150 houses in Efail Isaf on top of the 600 proposed at Ystrad Barwig (Fletchers Farm) have the planners gone mad??? The roads are already congested at peak times, imagine another 1300 or more trying to use them at these times. Local schools are over crowded, trying to get an appointment at the doctors is a nightmare and the hospital is terribly overstretched. We must object in the strongest possible terms to these planning proposals and make R.C.T. see we don't need or want these developments.

This is out outrageous
Planning application for 600 houses has gone in less than half a mile away 200 houses have just been built 1.5 mile away and more going up as we speak 1.5mile the other direction.
Are these people for real!!
Have they been on these roads at rush hour? Have they tried to park at any of the shopping areas ? Have they been to the all ready over crowded schools? Have they tried to see the doctor only after a 3 week waiting list?
This is a village turning into a concrete jungle of houses on top of houses, congested roads and over crowded schools with no doctors to look after us, or if there is you will be dead by the time they get to see you.
this in turn will turn into angry people living on top of each other stuck in traffic waiting to park with the stinking car fumes,
Asbo kids with not enough police to patrol the area.( when was the last time you seen a real
Police man walking in the village) and taking away the lovely green fields peace and tranquility of this area.
Then again the government is all corrupt and money talks.
unless we make a stand they will walk all over us.

This new housing proposal would have a negligible effect on RCT,s housing targets and a huge effect on the village. The recently built by pass was, in part at least, to relieve traffic pressure through the village and this would negate that relief. Safety of children walking through the village to school would also be a concern, with narrow pavements, and no pavements, in some parts of the village. At a time when we are being encouraged to cut down on car travel to take children to school, and walk more generally, this seems a counter productive housing proposal. .

Destro Efail ISaf village character
Of the three main routes into Efail Isaf,2 are substandard
Poor access to schools ,parents will have to rely on vehicular access
Very limited public transport
Very significant ecological impact

This development will cause an unacceptable increase in pollution and traffic congestion to a small local area and place further strain on the local amenities i.e. doctors, schools and destroy an area of scientific interest.

Rct need to think about schools which are already stretched not to mention the roads. We already have enough new homes being built in this area.

I object to this proposal due to the fact that this area is not included in the local development plan, is an area of scientific interest and is in the countryside. Further more, the impact on highways, schools and other facilities should result in this objection being over ruled.
