The infrastructure cannot manage further development in this area, specifically the roads, schools and medical facilities. Furthermore, it would destroy the diverse ecology of the area.

I believe local services will not be able to cope with this increase in housing.

I agree with all objections but the main one I think concerns access via one small road leading up from Heol y Ffynon to the site. It is hardly adequate now if several cars are parked up to the entrance to Penywaun. Lorries will deposit dirt on the road and cause noise for up to 2 years. How are they to access Efail Isaf safely with a right angled bend at the Carpenters pub and a narrow bridge in Heol Dowlais with no pavement either side. Accidents waiting to happen.

Village roads cannot cope with extra traffic. Ffordd-y-Capel narrow and partially single lane and the old railway bridge at Heol Dowlais also narrow with no paving for pedestrians. Site is an area of countryside and a perimeter to the Village envelope boundary
