The proposed development is far too large. It will place increased pressure on roads and services.

The infrastructure is over stretched now as it is without adding any extra to it. The way the area is being built up is ludicrous with no thought gone into it.

This would ruin the village with a unique community spirit.

The extra houses would cause too much congestion on the roads going into and out of the village. Would increase the difficulty in obtaining doctor's appointments. Would increase pressure on the local schools and Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

The development would cause to ouch traffic congestion. It is very difficult now to obtain a doctor's appointment. Royal Glamorgan hospital has been downgraded the extra people will place extra strain on the hospital's services. Finally are there sufficient places in the local schools for the families moving into these houses.

We are rapidly becoming an urbanised sprawl soon to be a suburb of Cardiff do we want this NO ! The council seem only interested in the income generated forgetting that in the long term it will cost all of us including them!!

Don't ruin a lovely village

As a church village resident I am concerned about the increases that would be seen in traffic on the existing road system. At rush hour the roads can't cope as it is. And where will the children be schooled? And doctors? It is hard enough to get an appointment as it is. Where is the thought for extra capacity in all of the services?

This scale of develop would only have negative affects on our community. It will ruin our wildlife, over populate our already busy roads, but even more pressure local amenities. The schools, doctors and children clubs are already full and unable to provide services for the existing local residents. This is an unsustainable proposal, which would ruin the charm of Efail Isaf Village.

This proposal is obviously unsustainable and too substantial. This is a small village and will not cope with the additional demands on the already stretched infrastructure. I also think it's clear that this proposal will have a significantly adverse affect on the existing wildlife habitat.

This is an unsustainable development which would ruin the character of the village. The current infrastructure cannot support an increase in population on this scale.

I have submitted a protest letter to the authority broadly along similar lines to others, highlighting infrastructure and environmental problems etc..

The proposals are entirely inappropriate. They are poorly thought through and cannot provide anything but misery to the village. Just to get the trucks in to build would be a challenge, so how would the roads cope with the extra traffic? Wilful destruction of the countryside in this way, which would harm the quality of life for all in the village cannot be condoned

This development would be a tipping point for a village that already has problems from traffic congestion, unsafe walking routes, poor public transport and overcrowded local schools and doctors surgeries. Investing in these things should be the council's priority, not approving unnecessary housing projects that would endanger local children, and have a hugely negative impact on residents and wildlife.

More cars, unsafe streets and less green space have a negative impact on children being active and outdoors - this in a county where 27.5% of our children are obese or overweight. 4. Envrionmental impact - what will happen to the protected species that live in the fields? 5. 150 houses could mean 600 more people in the village - at the last census we were a village of around 1200 - that's 50% more people! Do we have the facilities to handle that level of population increase?

Please do not take the only greenery left of our beautiful village.

This plan was rejected only a few years ago.I object to this proposal as the site is a special landscape area the habitat of a great number of species protected by british and european law .narrow roads are inadequate to cater for the present volume of traffic further volume liable to cause chaos.Wednesday refuse collection major problem with congestion.Schools in area already oversubscribed
