Enough is enough..................

Why are we constantly building on green field sites, instead of recycling derelict, brown field sites such as the Coke Works. The answer is simple, profit! We should be preserving the little countryside we have left. Also the road past power station hill is ridiculously slow and congested for most of the day, 350 houses is not going to help.

What's wrong with brownfield sites? Leave our countryside alone.

There are plenty of brownfield sites that could be used for building homes instead of destroying more beautiful countryside & wildlife habitats

The way it's going we will have NO green fields left in Rhondda Cynon Taff. It's going to be like Grows Faen they are putting up a big development over there and don't think of the impact it has on small village's or roads. PLEASE don't leave our future generations without any green fields.

This will mean increased traffic, more pollution and will destroy the village feel of Efail Isaf. I have emailed my objections to RCT planning dept and encourage others to do the same.

A ludicrous proposal. Efail Isaf cannot cope with the size of this development.

I am against the building of houses on this site in Efail Isaf.

We do not have the infrastructure to cope with this development.

We don't need anymore new houses. We need more doctor's, more schools, more local amenities. We need green spaces

I believe this will have a massive impact on the local infrastructure

This propsed development will change a beautiful and envied landscape, blur boundaries, create another byway of houses (of which RCT have plenty) and put undue pressure on an already stretched highway and sevices infrastructure. I oppose it strongly

1.Even more strain on our local health services & schools. 2.Worse congestion. 3.Increased levels of air pollution. 4.Risk of flooding & impact on wildlife. 5.Loss of our village to urban sprawl. Why is this development EVEN being contemplated? This area has undergone massive growth in my life time without proportionate increase in resources - for example Is a 3 week wait for a doctors appointment acceptable? This development will only make matters worse.

Leave the green field sites alone There's plenty of other locations that can be used.

The village is struggling with traffic, getting through Heol y Ffynnon is getting more difficult with only single lane available due to parked cars. More housing will increase traffic issues in and around the village.

Getting out of the area in the morning is taking longer and longer. We have already lost the benefits of the bypass and more houses will only compound the problems.

Unnecessary development on green land will cause massive disruption to the area/wildlife and will put a detrimental stress on surrounding amenities. Also prone to flooding.

Infrastructure poor in area, all promised schools,gp surgeries, shops etc never happen. Roads cannot take more traffic, we need to stop allowing green field sites being used as we know all they want to do is build through to junction 33, concentrate on brown field sites and redevelopment of city dwellings that are empty. RCT love the income from new housing but don’t care about what it does to the existing occupants of Newtown Llantwit

This area cannot cope with further housing developments unless there are firm plans to improve the current infrastructure to cope with increased demands on services etc and protection of the environment

The area is at capacity, the current infrastructure cannot cope with increased housing developments, traffic and demand on emergency/GP Services and education facilities
