No apartments. I've moved from two area that built apartments and the same thing happened in both. It starts off ok then the company sells and proceeds to fill every available unit at the cheapest rate.

I live in the Oak Creek Estates subdivision and I oppose the building of rental apartments! Townhomes for purchase would be a better solution.

We do not want apartments in our area. Go look at Sandy Springs to see how bad it is for a nice residential area. Apartments should be keep in business, mall, office building areas.

Apartments belong in a RAC (regional activity center) -- like Town Center Mall area, NOT THIS SITE!
This is a perfect retail location for retail redevelopment: the intersection of two busy roads.
Mixed-use may be the buzz words today, but this parcel is TOO SMALL FOR SUCCESSFUL MIXED-USE THAT IS SUSTAINABLE!!!
What about redeveloping with a strong anchor store -- like a Lowe's -- and add additional businesses in that complex?

Put more businesses there. Make the parking lot more attractive to business owners. That area is missing out on a ton of revenue.

I have no problem with condominiums for purchase. I do not want apartments there. I have lived in a nice apartment complex prior to buying my home in East Cobb. I purchased here because there were no apartments- just single family homes. There are approximately 5 “senior targeted” living options within a few miles of this site. Apartments are not necessary as there are other apartment options already within Cobb County. Upscale condominiums for purchase are a great compromise and give an owner a nice place to live with a low maintenance option as many services are/can be provided; and make a good return on investment. It’s an unspoken inference to the current single family housing owners that the new property will likely be maintained well by the new owner and keep current East Cobb resident property values high. The right fit for this long term dilapidated property is worth waiting for and we should not “settle” for something that does not benefit all of us in area, just to get it done right now. If the developer is willing to include “some condos” they ought to be willing to make the entire planned residential space condominiums. I implore you- NO apartments. Properties are bought, developed and then sold off yet again to another purchaser or management company all the time. Please keep the integrity of single family homes here, they have always been here since the area was developed and the area needs to remain that way.Thank you.

We do not need more congestion. We have suffered from the dilapidation of this complex now for over 32 years since we have lived here in Piedmont Chase Subdivision. How about making a public park or a school?
