Traffic backups, schools overcrowded and property values decline! Apartment and townhomes in this development are “a recipe for disaster!” There was and is a reason why “no apartment housing” became the rule in East Cobb many years ago! I know I voted for this restriction back then....Now we must Not Allow this to happen in our neighborhoods, roads and schools!

I've asked questions about this project when it first was proposed and never got an answer. Any time I do not get answers, I do not vote for any proposal.

While I think we can all agree that the area in question needs some form of redevelopment, additional housing would fundamentally change the character of the area, in addition to contributing towards traffic on Sandy Plains, which is already susceptible to severe congestion during rush hour. As a resident of Harper Woods, I strongly oppose this proposal for high-density housing in this area.

The usual bait and switch with developers. First draft I was willing to think limited number apartments, max two bedrooms, 3 stories. They’ve removed green space and traffic in this new design will be a new nightmare.
