Please reject the current zoning changes proposed by Strode. The proposed space is too large, is out of character for the neighborhood, and the increased traffic will be a nightmare. It is already hard enough to get into and out of my home on most days. Our neighborhood cannot handle the increased traffic that this development will result in. Mark Hardin 3548 Rankin St The citizens of UP years ago agreed to a modification of zoning changes for this site when it was owned by Mr. Huddleston. The property was purchased with full knowledge of the zoning restrictions. Any future development should fall largely within the existing zoning requirements. This building is too out of scale for this site, and not in character with the existing Snider Plaza. This building as proposed sets a very bad precedent for development in University Park. It is wholly inappropriate for this location.

4068 Stanford - We can't the building fall within current building code guidelines. Because the Highland Park developer can make more money if he builds a bigger building. And the UP residents get stuck with more traffic congestion. Is that a fair tradeoff?

Please do not build it! You are going to ruin the perfect old, wonderfulness of Snider Plaza!

I am a resident and very against the zoning changes that would increase traffic to Snider Plaza by the Chase Bank proposed project. Please put something in more keeping with the other buildings on the street as this would be a nightmare getting school children to and from HPMS and a tragedy waiting to happen for so many youngsters that walk and bike to and from school.

All proposals are not fitting for that area. The Chase building should be torn down and converted into a park with parking. Let's keep the area a family friendly business neighborhood (UP is a family neighborhood and not a shopping/business center) We have enough traffic due to Snider and SMU. Parents / kids area not comfortable walking from middle school to home as is. The board, developer etc need to drive & walk around that area during the busiest time of the day.

2704 Rosedale Ave. We live on the east side of SMU and cannot get through the overly crowded intersection at Daniel and Hillcrest as it currently exists. In recent years, SMU development has blocked all other paths out of our neighborhood. We strongly oppose any development that is above and beyond current zoning.

3029 Westminster Ave. Not in favor of a huge building towering over Snider Plaza and surrounding homes and businesses. Not in favor of busier streets when so many kids bike/scooter/walk to schools nearby.

3101 Westminster Avenue I agree the proposed height by the developer is too tall. I do not want to see a massive increase in traffic around this area.

I strongly object to building this monstrosity in our fair city of University Park. Height would be far too tall. TOO much traffic !!! and Adverse impact to our residential neighborhood !

3446 Stanford. The building proposal looks heinous, does not fit in with the community or surrounding structures. It looks like it belongs to be built off of I-75 or 635, not in the middle of Park Cities. It seems nobody is benefitted other than the developer. The residents seem to agree that there is a lack of aesthetic in the design, that there will be increased risk to pedestrians, and an increase in congestion of Hillcrest and surrounding streets. One of the many reasons that Park Cities are attractive to residents and businesses is the small town feel in the middle of the big city. Developments like the one proposed would reduce that appeal and lower property values. The residents should not pay the price for the benefit of a few. I don't see how the development can be justified.
