"Going green" by clear cutting 70+ acres of forest doesn't make sense to me. There have to be other more suitable sites for this project. Century Brass or the old dump for example.

Please don't do this! Keep Candlewood Mountain beautiful for generations to come. It must be preserved! Save the woodlands and wildlife.

I grew up down the road from this site and have watched the many attempts over the decades to monetize this land. This is the latest and one of the worst ideas. If the town can be persuaded to do the right thing and reject this project, then the next step should be for the town or a nonprofit to purchase the land for preservation. Otherwise, we will just fight this battle over and over again.

Preserve Connecticut's woodlands and corresponding ecosystems, do not eliminate them. Haven't we destroyed the Earth enough. Place solar panels on top of existing manmade structures. There are many more options. Any solar fields constructed in CT should benefit CT residents.

All I see is a few stores. And a lot of emty one's. What a waste. I rather have trees

As a resident of New Milford, I am entirely opposed to this project. This will do far too much damage to the natural environment of our town. Candlewood Mountain should not be clear-cut. Our community is far too populated to absorb a deforestation project of this scale. Please do not do this here!!

Let me get this straight- we destroy our forest, fry our birds, ruin the land for future use when the panels wear out and the inefficient, costly power goes else-wear. No tax revenue, no power,no forest. There's no benefit to us. Lose lose. Stupid!
