Stop destroying what Mother Nature gave us. Candlewood Mountain is more, once it’s gone it will never comeback

I can not believe that they would be cutting down so many trees . Do they not realize what effect it would have on the environment . The habitat of the animals. Also once the trees are gone they are gone.
We are already having enough problems with global warming due to the cutting of trees all over the world.
This is definitely a very bad decisions
And the most important thing to really think about once it is done it can not be taken back and the impact will be so great.
I pray to God this does not happen to this beautiful area .This is so sad with so many things being destroyed by nature. That man is destroying nature also.

Enough with the windmills and solar parks that don't benefit the taxpayers. I keep hearing about all the energy being produced - yet my electricity bill keeps rising. I pay more for delivery, etc. than I use in electricity.

Leave the forest alone. This is one
of the worst ideas. People need the
woodland more than the electricity.

My family lives two miles from this site, and although I support solar energy, cutting down the forests defeats the purpose of clean energy. There are plenty of bare areas and deserts waiting to be used for solar farms!

As a life long resident of New Milford and having grown up on Candlewood Mountain, I am vehemently opposed to the destruction of this priceless mountain by way of clear cutting nearly ninety acres of core forest. Particularly when it is for the sole interest and profit of out of state investors. Just say NO!!

I am opposed to this project.
It was poorly conceived, is not financially beneficial to Town, and CT regulations are now opposed to this project.
This projects promoted commercialization for profit and has not been subjected the wetlands, planning, and zoning regulation required for other development projects.
Please abide by customary regulations and not the shortsighted CT solar development regulations that were rescinded a few days later.
Please say NO!

STOP‼️
I don't know how the "town" lost control of this, but we, the community who disagree must stop it from going forward‼️
