This is so sad! The local government is not considering the impact on wildlife and how they are destroying this beautiful forest for future generations. Devastating! Once it's gone, it's gone forever!

I don't see any good reason for this project to go forward and destitute our animals from their habitat. I am concerned with the fact that this area will become prone to the growth of invasive species that will further damage the ecosystem around the rest of the forest. Once you cut tree you create space for invasive species to establish themselves in the new cut borders... Also concerned about how all those mirrors affect our birds.

I understand the need for solar but to put it bluntly are you nuts.It won't be used in Connecticut. IT WILL destroy habitat for many animals.the cuts you cut do supply oxygen to put already deprived atmosphere. Where are you going to be in 20 yrs..will you be checking this yearly to make sure it's up to code.why don't they build silver for Massachusetts in Massachusetts..because they don't want it.why don't they put it on the houses for free in Massachusetts that it's suppose to generate electric for..what if we get a hurricane that wipes it out..or blizzard.
We do have winter here and they will be covered with snow..no genetation??is anyone getting paid off??do you have children who live here, Do you care about our environment or in 20 years will new milford have to foot the bill to clean up after it's done like the century brass site..dont do it PLEASE..

Please respect and show compassion for all the wildlife and forest that will be destroyed. They cannot fight for themselves.

There are spots in New Milford that are already cleared. Use Pettibone school area or Century Brass. Do not cut any more forested land in our area.

I will work and do everything in my power to keep this travesty from befalling my town and the beloved open spaces that surround it. I am dissapointed with the town leadership for allowing this to happen.
There is no upside to this.
