This corrupt action needs to be stopped. Don't destroy a forest to make solar power! Better alternatives exist.

Alternatives to clear-cutting a forest need to be explored. Vermont has huge solar farms along RT 7 which appear to be placed on unused farmland, or a portion of an active field. Car parks at public locations such as schools can be easily covered with solar arrays, as was done for EV charging at the Suffolk County Center in Riverhead, NY. Inspired and creative approaches to siting solar collection fields are required.

it is outrageous that our beautiful natural environment will be decimated when indeed there are other places to put solar panels that would not entail cutting down over 70 acres of forest.

I am totally against this beautiful mountain, full of wildlife and vegetation to be cleared for a solar plant. Please don't let this go through. Also, a disaster for future generations.

I am against this plan. It takes away beautiful natural countryside for a 20 year plan to subsidize a private company. That makes no sense.
If we are worried about getting more power, how about offer incentives to homeowners in the same area to install solar? Why reward a private company that has no long term stake if the profits don't work out.

We only have one lake and it's beautiful mountains. My family has enjoyed them since 1930's. Stop this madness and leave it alone!

There are plenty of commercial roofs to place solar on, no need to clear cut forests.

No to solar power on the mountain
No to solar power that will not benefit New Milford at all
Locate plant at old brass company and be sure that New Milford gets income for allowing it in our town. Tax credits and the energy going out of state is ridiculous!!!!
