I had the good fortune to live on the mountain back in the late 1970s. Cannot believe that anyone would consider clear cutting such a beautiful place. Good luck, I hope you prevail.

Solar development is profitable and benefits ONLY the original developers.It renders the ground useless, kills animals and costs more for electricity that never goes to the folks harmed by the clearcutting.

Is that the horse farm? Worked for Utilitity in that area,beautiful spot if that's the area. Stratford resident,maybe none of my business,but that eye sore should not be there. Hope you stop it.

Any large project like this needs to be considered by our town government every step of the way. We need to be involved. It's more than the 75 acres being affected. It's every parcel around it and below it as well.

please do not approve this project. Candlewood Lake is New Milford's jewel and this solar field

To expend the energy to clear cut this property sounds counter productive . The whole project sounds like a money making deal for a corporation and not energy saving for the environment or the population . Please try and find an empty field and put up an adequate amount of solar panels to do the job.
