The Mayer of Plattsburgh needs lessons on empathy and compassion- how about coming up with a better idea in dealing with the stray cats

Why are you punishing the cats? It’s not like they asked to live on their own, facing danger and starving. Maybe you should punish the humans who caused this situation, or find a way to help then.

This law is cruel, inhumane and if the City of Plattsburgh thinks this will work, they are completely ignorant to studies done on this exact situation. Leave these casts to the people that actually care for them and do their best to reduce their numbers. Don’t starve them!!

I’m appalled that the Mayor and City Council have approved this inhumane law. Review success stories and best practices from other cities and determine a better way to deal w this problem. You should be ashamed of yourselves for agreeing w this poor policy. I ask and hope you rescind it.

THIS IS HORRIBLE. DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE CATS AND DOGS WHAT IF ONE OF THEM GOT OUT BY ACCIDENT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THEM STARVE TO DEATH. I WOULD WANT SOMEONE TO FEED THEM. COLIN L REED ARE YOU A HEARTLESS PERSON? HOW CAN YOU WATCH ANIMALS DIE I WOULDN'T AND COULDN'T.

I feed feral cats! It’s not their fault that they are abandoned by humans in the first place! They would die if not for people like me. Why not trap
Them and spay and neuter and release them where they got picked up!!!
