Rescind the Plattsburgh Law to NOT feed stray cats

This is a heartless stupid law..and should be rescinded! Honestly don’t know what’s come over the people in charge of the govt. of the city of Plattsburgh...shame on all of you!

This is ridiculous how could anyone want to starve out colonies and strays that people have dumped just because "they don't like it" feeding these animals is how rescuers have stpiped the problem from spreading they have gained they're trust with food and then they can get them fixed along with any vetting needed these cats are not hurting anybody they are more scared of you than anything. We are in for a brutal winter and I think this new "law" recently passed is totally inhumane. Compassionate soul's should not be told they cannot save lives if that is what they choose wether fed or nor the problem still exists and is very very real! I say no way not today Plattsburgh ...

So cruel and inhumane. Help the wonderful people who work tirelessly to TNR these animals, they use their own money and rely on donations. Don’t just sit there making these ridiculous laws. Get out there and see what these people do! It’s so easy to make these decisions with a full belly and a warm place to lay your head every night.

Cats should not be punished for human negligence. TNR should be encouraged with grants and means. This over time is a humane way to reduce the population.

These living babies need to eat too!!!

I am boycotting the city of Plattsburgh over this cruel and inhumane law. I will not spend one dime there!

The stray and feral cats keep the rodent population down in out city. Has he realized this or take it into cosideration? So if I feed birds squirrels ducks/wild life that come to my yard... I'm responsible? This is inhumane and as a resident, tax payer I am appalled...

I do not live in the city of Plattsburgh but I do shop and work there. I think there are much BIGGER things that could be focused on and not feeding a stray unless you want to claim ownership seems more than a bit heartless!!! Do the people ina soup kitchen, feeding the less fortunate then have to adopt those people and add them to their health insurance? Have a heart for the poor animals that did not ask for the life they are living! All of my current cats were either strays or rescued animals with disabilities... if I could help them all I would.

This law is inhumane. People abandon them and then others are suppose to watch them starve?!! What a rediculous idea.

This is a ridiculous law. I will not stop feeding the stray cats in my neighborhood.They depend on us to stay healthy by getting fed regular.

Rescind this law, it's inhumane to let the cats starve to death!
