Rescind the Plattsburgh Law to NOT feed stray cats

This cruel and inhumane law needs to be rescinded.

It is unfair that cats should be made to suffer.

Punish the pet owners that abandon and abuse pets, not the good Samaritans trying to help the victims of abuse.

I vote to starve the humans who don’t spay or neuter their cats and then let them outside. The animals aren’t at fault here!!!!

If see a homeless person, wouldn't you want to feed them? Yes you would. Why wouldn't you want to feed a starving homeless animal? Both are living creatures.

This law is inhumane. People will feed them anyway. Do the right thing and institute TNR!

Absolutely criminal and barbaric for a community to attempt to implement a law making it illegal to feed homeless animals!!!

There are some stupid laws out there but this is the worst!! Those animals did not cause this to happen to themselves so no need to punish them!! Punish breeders and create more TNR groups!!

I find this law morally incomprehensible! If people would spay and neuter their pets this problem wouldn’t exist.

Someone has to help them, We need more kind people in the world.

This law is shows lack of compassion and understanding of feral cats. Those making these types of laws need to be educated on TNR (trap-neuter-return). Helping support and developing local TNR programs is the best option in this situation for both humans and cats alike.

Since you are trying to mandate such a law what would you say to a person that has a kind heart that cares about all animals and isn't going to see an animal suffer from hunger or lack of any kind of shelter. If you were lost in the dense forest and came across a camp that was locked up,and the weather was turning cold, would you try to find a way in for shelter? I'm sure you would if you have a brain. I,m sure you would also look for something to eat, and you might even build a fire if there is a stove, to warm yourself up. And GOD forgive you if you see a bed and decided to spend the night! What you are asking people to NOT DO is care about the wellbeing of any animals except their OWN personal pets. Hopefully the people living in Plattsburgh will ignore your request, because they are children of GOD!
