Restore Edmonton's Democracy: Rescind. Rethink. Redo

Need better planning. Parking requirements need to be planned for with the increase in parking requirements. Currently parking is an issue without this mass increase to come.

First signing any petition. It saddens me to see that this city council is working against communities favouring their personal interests and not those who actually live there. No parking? Seriously? Densification? I do not live in these areas but I remember a poem that ends with "Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me" . I am listening.

We are pro densification but this project turns our neighbourhood into a commercial area. It is irresponsible to add a 6 story building in the middle of a residential street with 0 parking like they want to do on 81st ave. They should reconsider and do multiple family townhouses or something that is reasonable for a residential neighborhood. 4 units per lot is great for mature neighborhoods is a great solution to increase population without disturbing the population

The current zoning scenario demonstrates an absolute disconnect in terms of what is intriguing conceptually vs what works on a practical basis. Blanket approaches simply demonstrate a lack of effort or desire to put in the time and effort to design a nuanced approach. While densification is required, it needs to be done in a manner that does not destroy neighborhoods and cause preventable friction amongst neighbors.

The zoning permit requested according to the McKernan Messenger was for 2 "Skinny" houses. The posting on the lot went up today -- for a fourplex!! I feel bullied -- that as a Senior citizen and original home resident at my address that the City of Edmonton is attempting to push me out of my family home. I am concerned and upset to be treated so disrespectfully in my senior years.

I support responsible densification and growth. Not open season for developers with no community responsibility just trying to make money.

Infill and redevelopment needs to compliment and preserve our neighbourhood's character. The homes being built are blights on our neighbourhood.

There isn’t enough parking for residents of many of our streets already. There needs to be better planning made for additional load on the existing infrastructure.

The city had given permission to build a 8 unit building on a single family lot at the end of a crescent that in a neighborhood that is only single family homes that are not on a collector road.

Our city Councilor lecture us when we contacted her to let her know ow our concerns. The scale of 8 plexes and blocking sunlight is hurting. I took valley line LRT from downtown and at one stop it was surrounded by gravel parking lots. How about build condos or apartments there?

Builders have all the rights, while existing home owners have no say anymore. There seems to be NO RESTRICTIONS with what they can build beside our homes. Ashley Salvadore & this counsel is destroying our once quaint neighborhood. They have their OWN agenda of increasing density, and DON'T LISTEN to our concerns. They were elected to represent their constituents, but have forgotten all about this.

There has to be limit of not more than 4 units on an infill lot
