The neighborhood is getting overcrowded

The zoning/densification policies are destroying the culture of our community. Increased traffic and a more transient population due to rentals is driving up crime. More garbage. Tax revenue goes up and services delivered to communities go down each year. The plan isn’t working at all.

The COE has increased their property tax intake hugely by turning single-home lots, intoto 4, 8, or even 9 'home' lots. All this with absolutely ZERO cost for infrastructure. Not any more streets to plow, not any more sewer or water lines, not any more sidewalks to maintain. Where is all this extra revenue going? Meanwhile, the residents surrounding these monstrosities have to deal with constant shade in their backyards, no place to park, and a declining atmosphere in the neighbourhood they chose to live in. The entire council needs to be fired for allowing this disastrous policy and replaced by individuals who legitimately care about the concerns of the taxpayers who they swore to serve, instead of individuals who only care about increasing their revenue to fund nearly empty LRT trains, and bike lanes with hardly anyone on them.

Leave our Green spaces. Stop putting in high density buildings without our input.

Many multifamily complexes have been established in our neighbourhood recently, without any consideration for infrastructure.

No 8 plexes, stick to skinnier or less

We do not have the parking to handle 6 unites where we previously had a single house. This is ridiculous.

Infills are necessary but there needs to be more rules to ensure it is done in the spirt the neighborhood was designed. This is respective of the people who live there and built the community there.

8 plex on a 50 foot lot way overboard. split lots and duplexes should have been enough. neighbours beside an 8 plex should sue for dramatic loss of property value!!!

I don’t disagree with infill but the city has created a mess by allowing almost anything to be built with no way for residents to have a say.

Developers have more power than they deserve. They succeed because of lobbying. They do not represent the values of most Edmontonians.

Edmonton Silly Clowncil is clueless when it comes to what their citizens want.

I understand the need for our city to densify - it is an inescapable reality, and one that we can absolutely work together to achieve. However, in our neighborhood there is a development that (according to the development signage) will include upwards of 10 units in 4 buildings on a plot of land that once held 1 house. This is unacceptable in a mature neighborhood; this is the developers operating in an unlimited manner with zero regard for current homeowners.

Enough is enough.

The mature neighbourhoods also serve as entry points to downtown and the University of Alberta Our traffic is already very bad, and we pay a high cost for insurance and property taxes Unless you were going to greatly reduce our property taxes and not charge us for all the accidents that other people get into our in our neighborhoods, then I will not support this

The three storey four plex with four secondary suites on 62nd Street is a disgrace. This is a designated historical neighborhood.
