Example. - allowing a developer to build 16 units on a single lot with no parking and no expansion of the sewer system. Shortsighted, ideologically driven and intentionally divisive ( branding any opposition as NIMBY) behaviour by City Council.

Multiple dwelling unit should not go forward 35ave and 119 street. Destroys neighbourhood. Traffic and parking will be terrible.

Over the last 10-15 years multiple oversized infills have been done on my street. The infills permitted to be built as multi-family dwellings to address "density" on either side of me both have single families in them. The CofE staff were of no help to me when I had multiple complaints about damage done to my property, windows built directly opposite mine, etc. It took bringing in CBC to even get my then City Counsellor to respond. I have minimal distance between my property and the new oversize infills which seriously affects my quality of life. Further, because developers never infill correctly to bring properties back up to grade, the land on both sides of me have slumped - to the east quite problematically - there is movement of my house, sidewalks, etc. We have limited parking space on my street and in the surrounding area. When there are large scale events on 82nd avenue, they pack. Having development of multi-family spaces without reference to adequate parking will only cause more difficulties. Further, there has been significant damage done to alleyways through the movement of heavy machinery - with no remediation by developers.

I am for preserving the heritage of our historic and and scenic areas of Edmonton. Keep the hi-level multi family apartments where they belong, together in appropriately zoned areas.

I am so disappointed with the multiplex apartments that are destroying their neighbors peaceful beautiful yards with enormous structures being built beside their homes.

I bought into my neighbourhood for very specific reasons. It is completely unfair to have the character of this community fundamentally changed. We need different city councilors as the current ones do not represent their constituents.

The new zoning law is a major risk to our property investments
A small group getting rich off ruining our neighborhoods as the city does nothing is disgraceful. This should be stopped or
Their should by law mandatory compensation paid to the land owners directly attached to these infills especially if the infill involves building a structure a story or more higher than the existing structure on the property

Neighbourhood Residents inputs and opinions should be collected before changing property boundaries for infill developments.

Eight Plex being built on the lot beside my home. This means potentially 16 cars without parking on a small narrow street not to mention the immediate decrease in my property value of a home. I have owned for over 30 years. I am a licensed realtor and mortgage broker, and I understand the need for homes however, this, without consultation of the immediate neighbours and neighbourhood is irresponsible and negligent.

I support the petition; We are losing the Mature Neighborhood character dividing a lot is great it renews the neighborhood, putting 8 units in the middle of the street is complete unacceptable. And the affordability is a joke.

I agree with petition. I feel that this needs to be halted and reassessed by everyone involved in the community. There is a fourplex going in on our block that won’t have adequate parking and is so big that it’s blocking the house to the north of it. This is completely unacceptable

Removal of the Mature Neighbourhood Overlay was a betrayal of the promise made to all the residents that made the choice of established communities over the suburban sprawl that is straining the city's budgets and infrastructure. And even with the very generous building allowances with the new zoning many developers are still asking to exceed those limits. The developers will be long gone but the degradation of our communities will be lasting scars for decades to come. Such a scattered and incoherent mish-mash of conflicting policies and goals!
Thankyou
