Zoning must be revisitied - “densification” needs supportive services, transportation,, parking etc. . Size must be limited in residential areas.

Densification is needed, but not without foresight and oversight which the City is presently neglecting. The oversized, soul-less boxes the City has allowed in mass production are destroying our neighbourhoods. The taxpayers of Edmonton need better representation than our the current City council.

We need environmentally responsible and respectful densification that maintains the community’s character and green space. Our community already has major issues with parking congestion and I have seen multiple near misses with vehicles that could have resulted in serious injury. I’m also concerned that we will be priced out of our own neighbourhood. I love the community I live in!

Infills are killing the established neighbourhoods and it's not pretty. Plus lack of parking and living next door to a larger home is terrible.

You save up, buy a home in a mature community like you grew up in only to have your neighborhood destroyed. Stop punishing people for wanting to live in a neighborhood with space and privacy. If you can’t afford to live in one of these neighborhood’s that’s unfortunate. The argument of affordability is also bogus, these units are extremely expensive as you own literally no land.

A 6-8 plex in the middle of an old treed neighborhood on a 50 foot lot without one parking place per unit is irresponsible city planning. In fact -- every apartment of any size needs one parking place per unit. Repeal Zoning Bylaw 20001.
