I do not want a 5 story apartment building in the school yard close to our homes.

Very concerned about, this distrructive approach to densification. I agree with the need for densification but in appropriate places with regard to community impact. This approach to zoning is a disaster.

Limit the number of units on a single lot. Require off-street parking. No residents-only parking; my guests need parking on the streets my taxes pay for.

Please do not allow the building of the subsidized housing as there are already two other complexes that have had issues with drug and gang violence. Our neighbourhood does not need anymore issues like this. Our field should be kept as is for the use of sports and children to play freely.

I’m all for an affordable housing, but this is not it. There have been no steps to compensate for increased density in neighborhoods, including parking, sewer, huge buildings, looking into people’s backyards. I’m all for affordable housing, but this is not it. These rents and or purchase prices are not affordable. There have been no steps to compensate for increased density in neighborhoods, including parking, sewer, huge buildings looking into peoples backyards. It’s not acceptable to build these in mature neighborhoods.

I moved to this area for the mature homes and close knit community. Infill are destroying everything good about this and other neighborhoods. They aren't solving any "affordable housing" as the rent or purchase is ridiculously high so please, tell me, how does this provide affordable housing? It fills the pockets of developers and the city.

The building of 8,9,12 unit homes in ONE lot is taking its toll on parking, overcrowding in schools, parking, safety and oh, did I mention parking? Many of these are also rentals and there have been many instances where tenants are careless which really affects the appearance of the neighbourhood. This is NOT responsible urban growth.

The City of Edmonton is not listening to the people who live in Belmont. Putting a 5 story building on a school property in a single family neighborhood is ridiculous. The current road system will not be able to accommodate all the new traffic this building will generate. This green space is used daily by the people of Belmont. If you look around the community of Belmont there is already a lot of low income housing in Belmont. Is the City trying to keep it in the north east side of Edmonton. This is very good example of the City of Edmonton not listening to the people they are supposed to represent.

This is not the right place to build a 171 unit 5 story or any apartment building on this lot for several reasons. I did not get this notice until Dec 04 and was not notified of a community consultation on Nov 18th. There has been several apartments buildings been or being built in Clareview and see no need for more.

I don’t want this big complex to go up in my neighbourhood because it will decrease the home values and more population pollution in crime

This development will be an eyesore, loss of green space. Subsidized housing means more garbage as most of these people don't care what things look like.
