Stop this ridiculous nonsense!!! You are messing very negatively with people’s lives. I invite any council members to live next to one of these multiplexes and see how they like it!!

The council has to rethink this density housing and stop being in a relationship with sketchy developers who just want to make money.

We tried to convince the City by going to council meetings and stating our case to reduce the size of infills, but they would not listen. So we signed a Restrictive Covenant

zero consideration for the neighbors that have to live next store to one of these 6 or 8 plex's, 2 skinny homes on one old school lot is all ready to much. zero consideration for the seniors that have worked a life time to pay off there homes and build a life in these community's and pay the taxes that the city has deemed fit for said property's . and just to be told your going to have to like it . Time for change we need to vote for a new council that better reflects the needs of the citizens of these communities that have been paying taxes for the last 50 + years . Thanks for reducing my property value, sure hope my taxes go down to compensate for the loss to my property value when one of these eye sores are built next to me not to mention the loss of privacy and sun.

I'm disappointed how our city has gone downhill, so quickly.
LRT planning has & is a waste of tax dollars. It is not safe & after using it thinking I could save money, become part of the Reduction in pollution? No, it wouldn't. Yellowhead is a nightmare, worse now the warmer months are beginning.
Downtown is a disgrace!
People will only visit for a concert or a hockey game!
Homeless population has increased tenfold, with NO solutions! Only to rip apart the camps, destroy what little items are owned.
Remove, then follow the next camp, repeat.
City has no programs for helping anyone. Construction is a huge joke! Change zones, regardless of plans to the neighborhood! Just new infils, ugly builds, over-the-top pricing. & affordable to no-one.
Planning has no structure, parking etc.
Want businesses & people to "visit" Downtown? For what exactly? Harassment from pan handlers, dodging pedestrians who have a death wish! Higher business rents? Closing down , & a higher rate of crime that does not make downtown attractive.
Police with no budgets. Crime has spread out to so many areas & it has increased past few years! Didn't take long!
& bike lanes? Seriously? Just because a certain councillor wanted to ride his bike to work does not constitute the cost. Snow removal? Ridiculous! The bike lanes are cleared, just saying.
Wake up!

Do not ruin neighbourhoods with I fills pls. People spend their whole lives paying off mortgages, this destroys their values, and effects so much more in a negative way.

The city is destroying beautiful neighborhoods with allowing these monstrosity's to be built amongst single family dwellings. This needs to come to a stop.

Thought should given to the home owners that have to put up with the monstrosities infiltrating their neighbourhoods. They are in poor taste mostly and do not enhance a neighbourhood. Does this city not spend money on city beautification? Oxymoron letting infill ruin our neighbourhoods among the flowers and shrubs you plant . No one’s looking at the botanicals with those gruesome structures.

I agree these large units decrease our home value but am doubtful they will reassess and decrease taxes An older home is more affordable for people starting out and these new units can be more expensive. Only ones benefiting are developers

Please reconsider the quality of life you are effecting with your choices. I was at a complaint meeting for an 8 apartment unit going up in my beautiful cul-de-sac. The 3 person panel said they were there to be unbiased and represent both sides. We had wise voices in 2 lawyers with so many viable complaints about the complex. The panel asked many numerous questions opposing the problems and did not ask ONE question of the developer when he shared his side. UNBIASED??? I think not! Let's be real and reasonable. I think our next option is to STOP paying house taxes as a full CIty...we have paid them for 30 years and this is the result. I call on your wise and true selves...lets see 8 unit complexes going up beside your homes!!

We need to address the housing crisis, but the changes must be done responsibly. This method is just creating further problems and strains on an already overburdened system.

These infills are out of hand and there is not clear transparency on the ability of the neighbourhood to handle the increased service demands

Residents currently in the neighborhood choose to live in the neighborhood away from these units currently being erected. Now they are being built next door without consideration for existing families or residents. There is currently NOT a housing crises in Edmonton that requires established communities to be exposed to the excessively large units that are being developed. Wonder if any members of city council would approve a multi complex unit being built next to their home in their ‘quiet’ neighborhoods?

The lack of thought being put into these massive units is appalling. Certain neighborhoods should be classified as SINGLE family only homes and mulit units not approved at all.

It’s unbelievable what’s happening with the infill in this city!! You work all your life to buy a home and in an instant it changes. I remember when we wanted to move our fences, that was an experience that took months. These infills seem to be up in a very short time!! No permits? You’re ruining our communities.
