4 huge housing projects with no parking. Street parking is already full and hard to drive down road with parking on both sides. Should limit side of new housing projects, get input from community

I am so disgusted at them buying up homes that are in perfectly fine condition only to tear them down along with all the mature trees only to be putting up multiplexes. This must be stopped as we have too many occupants already as it is and they are destroying nature.

The councilors specifically discussed parking rules and they decided that developers did NOT have to account for and plan parking in their developments. This is absurd and very wrong. There is a large 64 unit complex being build on what used to be a single residential lot. They demolished the house and are going to house 64 units in this building. If they haven't accounted for parking, where are all of these residents going to park? Not good.

This entire infil thing is totally out of control in Sakaw. How can you have 8 dwellings on a standard city lot? Ridiculous!. The one thing we can be absolutely sure of with this program is that none of it will occur within 60 meters of any city councilman or mayor. Can we have a discussion about covenants, their cost and their effectiveness such as occurred in Glenora.

Stop infill in mature neighbourhoods. It decreases the alive of homes beside them. The sale value of a person’s home is what is often used to finance their retirement. That value is significantly decreased with infill development. That is entirely unfair to the homeowner. I have seen tall infill projects that peer into neighbours yards. New neighbourhoods have been planned to have multiple types of homes from apartments to single family homes. When you buy in those neighbourhoods you know exactly what types of housing are around you. When you bought in a mature neighbourhood you also knew what was around you but now the city can change that. That is not acceptable.

Edmonton needs more science-backed, community-driven projects, not this. More 10-minute communities, less 2 hour commutes. Actual leadership that we can be proud of, instead of the Canadian equivalent of Texas.

There's a multiplex slated to be built very near my home... just a few houses away, in a field where the local kids play soccer, soft ball, baseball etc. A safe space. Between 2 schools a K-6, and a K-9. How much will this new building interfere with our view of the kids playing, how much will the street parking effect the neighborhood?
This building is for low income people, they have a bad reputation ... will we be safe, maintain our peaceful, quiet, safe place? Or will we be embattled with trash, dirty kids running around unsupervised until all hours? As things are just a few blocks away in the Civida housing.
Honestly... this will directly cause property values to drop, our home's and kids safety, and neighborhood appearance.
Im very strongly opposed to these buildings

The city allowing infill housing in my neighborhood will devalue my home I have spent years paying off and investing in. This is not about community, this is about lining peoples pockets while devaluing tax payers assets. This is shameful, and we pay more taxes with less services, and now will have property that is worth less.

Our homes are investments in our future. Irresponsible infill, for example we have a 8 unit build going in, will reduce the value of our home. The significant increase of load on infrastructure (water, sewer, internet, and power), will reduce the comfort and experience of our living space. Either compensate or consult. We are now planning on moving from a home we love. A home we infused with our character and love. I cannot tell you how betrayed I feel.

I'm not against in resign density in mature neighborhoods, but I don't believe it is being done thoughtfully and with regards to keeping the diversity of a neighborhood. None of the new build are affordable to buy or rent and the lack of parking requirement will negatively affect the reta of the neighborhood. Especially with the narrow streets in Bonnie Doon.

What a great way to destroy Neighbourhoods! I think they should be permitted next to each councillors home so they can enjoy the destruction too.

I have seen this monstrosity of an infill in Lauderdale and it looks absolutely ridiculous!!
I feel so bad for the people living on both sides of it. Privacy gone, parking is going to be a nightmare
Infill is trash, I am furious.
No more infills
