Prefer no infill that would have a negative impact on existing property value. Meaning developers cannot just select areas that will yield them the most profit while completely disregarding the impact of their project on the surrounding community.

Poorly crafted bylaw with horrible community impacts. Councillors passing this aberration should never have been re-elected. Terrible judgment.

I do not want my neighborhood destroyed by infill housing. Build a suburb of them somewhere else.

These need to be stopped ! 10 units is insane , the city’s infrastructure cannot handle it. Try getting out of the neighborhood during rush hour and it’s impossible

How is this affordable housing ? Also, we don't have to live like we live in Tokyo. 90% of our country has no one living in it.

Parking is already an issue. with the infills that are going to be built it will be worse. Also the water pressure and all the garbage has the city even thought of that.

The infills and multi units that are going up in the neighborhood are monstrosities. They are towering and encroaching on the houses in the neighborhood. Blocking sun and there is no we’re for all these people to park. They are not aligned with the neighborhood.

These infills are reducing greenery and trees and have a much bigger carbon footprint than building a new bungalow. And if your goal is to reduce carbon you are doing the opposite of your goal.

Infill is taking away affordable single family home housing options. For existing homeowners , it is depreciation housing prices and our ability to confidently upgrade our home with solar power and landscaping.

There needs to be more policies. I get 6 units maximum but there are greedy builders who would place a 16-unit rental property without any garage. Where shall those people park? Will our streets still be safe with the vehicles blocking the view of the streets.

Shading out neighbours, no designated parking on the lots... These infills have gotten out of control. Older neighbourhoods are valued for their quiet streets, mature trees, and SPACE! I can understand a duplex, or even a 4 plex.. WITHIN LIMITS. But a 8-16plex is absurd. There must be strict rules on height restrictions, and ensuring every unit has at least one spot to park on their lot.

It’s already hard enough to park my car and I’m tired of her counselors telling us to just ride a bicycle and take public transit. Myself and many others work in the trades and a vehicles pay your bills without realistic parking, you’re not gonna get any tax dollars.
