This is being done without proper consultation and consideration for existing residence. It's ruining quiet mature neighborhoods.

Disgusted by the total lack of fiduciary responsibilities displayed by our elected developer supporters

The City is not advising its residents when they build monster housing with no parking and put in bike lanes by taking parking away.

I am a home owner and want more say about what goes up in our neighbourhood.

This is a significant one because it controls things like what can be built where, housing types, development, businesses, and land use. The original Bylaw 20001 was passed by City Council Oct 23, 2023, & the official record shows it received first, second, and third readings on that same day. It was then signed and made effective January 1, 2024. How do we sign phone an statutoryholiday Gov’t are manipulating passing of bills to make it possible for citizens to not be aware of what has passed.

Citizens were not properly consulted on this. Despite the protests since this has been put in place, city council is not looking into this again.

I have owned my home in a mature neighbourhood for 40 years and lived in the same neighbourhood for 10 years prior to ownership. I do not like what I am seeing in other mature neighbourhoods where homes are being surrounded by large infills. The city is ruining the look of mature neighbourhoods and has not demonstrated any concern for those who bought their homes not expecting to be next to an eight-plex that towers beside their home taking away privacy and in some cases any sunlight.

I have 3 infills that are going to be built in my neighborhood, 2 of which are 8 plexes and they will ruin our community.

I care about the neighbourhood I live in and how it affects all aspects of my home

I was hoping to move back to the Hazeldean community, in a nice little bungalow. But with all the large infills, I’m leary to purchase anything in case a giant infill goes up next door. I certainly don’t want to live near anything larger than a duplex.

I do not support infill. Driving up property values for single family homes.

We do not need infills in mature Neighbourhoods. Everyone who lives in a mature neighbourhood does so because of the large mature yards not looking at an ugly infill with either 2 skinny houses or the new unsightly 8 plex. STOP the Infills in mature neighbourhoods

Because this Council and Administration is negatively affecting people's lives - financial investments, peaceful enjoyment of their homes, mental and physical health. Their approach is careless and irresponsible.

14 units on a 33 foot lot is insane.

I live in a community being affected by infill. It seems some Edmonton neighbourhoods are becoming overcrowded, for-profit ghettos. Current by-laws, and subsequent unsupervised developments, are not achieving the City’s stated objectives and are often damaging neighbouring homes.

I oppose infill bldg. 2 houses down, is rental property (bungalow) with rentals main floor & basement. In the back yard a 4 plex is being built. 6 rentals, 1 property! Where will they park? What about the garbage & recycle bins? A small narrow back alley, no parking available. Will this be a low rental unit? Will rental screening be done? I’ve lived here 40 yrs., quiet, mature, peaceful neighbourhood. will this be high density? I moved out of the apt. to get away from it. Stop the build.

I am concerned for quality of life in my neighborhood, losing mature trees is devasting , and bad for our direct environment as well as our community environment. We have infills and parking is becoming competitive and at times aggressive . The units are supporting more than one car . lack of privacy for those of us in single family home's .Garbage and pollution incases in our alleys

Infills are destroying our city. City council is completely deaf to this issue.
