As an adult, I saved my whole life to buy the childhood single family home I grew up in the neighbourhood I love. An 8plex is going up behind my house in the middle of the block beside everyone else in their quiet single family homes. It’s a monstrosity

We live in an older neighborhood across from a green park. The houses are mostly bungalows in our area. Now, a small house down our bock and across the street from our beautiful park will be torn down. A 3 story multiplex is going to be built on the lot. Not a single home owner wants this to happen! Gardens are losing light. Our quiet neighborhood is now going to be louder and crowded. Another point of concern is to how the water drainage for all of these separate apartments will be addressed.

I used to live in Edmonton and now live in St. Albert and there is talk in our city for infills. I completely disagree with how this is being done in any city where little consideration is made for how it affects the surrounding homes and stress on the old infrastructure. This is not "Responsible Development". Time for the city councils and managers to get their priorities in check and build the cities in ways that support the people's needs and established communities in a balanced way.

We live not far and do not want this in our beautiful quiet neighborhood.

We just bought a house in terrace heights one week ago, and now have heard that a multiplex is being proposed right next door… I’m sure it will be the usual, terrible architecture, no parking, a huge eyesore, and tank the property value. Not to mention the fact that it may be a nightly air ba nad b rental. We do not want these in our Edmonton neighborhoods!

Because of no consultation with property owners, whose neighborhoods are being destroyed by incompetent city council

The new builds being approved are ridiculous! The city needs to give its head a shake

The city zoning for multi-family dwellings is out of control with horrific designs and poor builds. It’s insane

I don’t want to see our community destroyed because we have a city council that does not care. Our city councilor Ashley Salvador is useless she is only in her position to collect a paycheque and pension. She has no interest in hearing what we have to say because it is not in her neighborhood. And if it did affect her area she would be the first to change the bylaws. I also want to know who actually went out and voted because if everybody did their due diligence then we would not be in this mess

These eight unit structures are much too large for this neighborhood. The information is that the building only has two parking spaces. Potentially there could be 16 vehicles looking to park if each unit has two drivers associated to them. There is no where to park that many vehicles. The fear is also that these premises could turn into rental units with transient persons living there.

We do not want Multiplexes in our neighbourhood. There is no room for parking and I have heard the multiplex on 75 St. has only 2 parking stalls for the entire unit, so the rest of the occupants have to park on the street. The people in the rest of the neighbourhood who need to park on the street will have less parking spots available because of the Multiplex unit. The City needs to listen to the people!!

The city destroyed my home because of their over construction and INVASIVE construction. My ceiling and walls were destroyed and insurance won't cover it. My life quality today and for the last 12 years now, has been reduced to zero so the city can give someone else a quality life tomorrow. Can't be inside because everything shakes. Can't be outside because of noise and ASTHBESTOS from demolition in they neighborhood the city PROMISED TO SAVE FOR FAMILY HOMES but is now destroying with multiplex

I’m Opposed to infill when the local infrastructure (roads, transit, utilities, sewer, waste management) is not designed to accommodate the population increases at the neighbourhood or community level.

Disfiguring and cluttering well established neighbourhood should be labeled as a crime!

I just lost all privacy in my backyard due to a garden suite infill. I've lived here for over 30 years and feel like our neighborhood is targeted for decimation due to the lot size. My alley is a garbage strewn disgrace because of the garbage caused by the builders who don't care about anything.

Infills are gaundy and obscene. Should be governed and controller. 8 units, with no parking is poor planning, and makes zero sense.
