This current bylaw and approach by city council is quickly ruining our mature neighborhoods. This has to stop.

Flawed engagement process and City Council and Administration failure to listen to/address mature neighbourhoods' feedback regarding maximum Infill density, incompatibility and scale of redevelopment housing forms, specifically the 8-plex, deficient landscaping requirements, and loss of mature tree canopy on redevelopment sites through absence of mature tree assessment and protection on private lots.

Appalled at the lack of oversight on these unrestricted infill projects, absolutely destroying the character of the neighborhoods that Edmontonians have loved and invested in for generations.

City council is accountable to us: the citizens of Edmonton - and we have a right to be heard.

The current mayor and city council are making decisions and putting into action projects and policies that are not in the best interests of the city, its economy or its citizens. The results are catastrophic and a change needs to be made. The City of Edmonton is being destroyed by its governance. We need leadership that cares about the welfare of this city and it’s people.

It’s important to protect the value of homes that already exist in the neighborhood.

I’ve seen inappropriate infill like 8 plexes with 2 suites over a garage imposed into my neighborhood.

City council has given a blank check to developers. There is no planning in this rezoning bylaw.

Because the council is destroying our neighborhoods. There won’t be any trees left when they are done with this.

It is our homes and destruction of our community is not an option. We bought in this community for the reason of a home not for transients

Mature neighborhoods deserve a say if a multi family dwelling is going into our neighborhoods I don’t want a developer coming in and building an 8 plex on my street I pay taxes and I have a say

The CoE council and administration has lost sight of their role in supporting the needs of Edmonton residents.

The negative effect large infill homes have on existing properties is ignored by city council

They are destroying existing neighbourhoods and completely changing the quiet communities that we love. Changing 1 house with parking into 8 apartments with 8-16 cars for those residents alone will completely clog up the roads with cars. And this is the case with every old house. We have 2 x 8-plexes going up next to our house, so that could be 16-32 cars (if 2 adults in an apartment both have cars). Imagine all the extra traffic they will cause at rush hour in our quiet community.

Want the neighborhood properties to sustain their value , not all infills need to be clustered up.

Our neighbor is getting destroyed. The eight plex is another name for transient short term rental units.
