That subway was the reason we moved away as the only access to where we lived was through 2 disused parks and dark unsafe roads and that was 36 yrs ago and Wirral Borough Council has done nothing in all those years to make it safer!!!!

This underpass needs to be sorted out asap I know a lot of people that use this and I also know a lot of people that would use it if it was made a lot safer with adequate lighting making people feel less vulnerable

It’s disgusting. Full of dog muck. Stinks of urine. Always got graffiti on. My children walk through this daily. Not acceptable

The state of the underpass on Thornburn Road & Beaconsfield Road are a disaster waiting to happen due to the disgusting dirt, lighting & certain people who congragate in the area.

About time something was done to these subways, graffiti all over the walls ,no lighting ,people feel unsafe going through. Need to do something about young lads on bikes selling drugs although that is most probably a police matter.

My children walk under this and it is full of dog dirt no lighting and kids hanging out in there it is only a matter of time that someone either falls or gets hurt

We should not be worried about our kids or parents walking home or to the shops . cheaper to sort than calling the police all the time . lighting and cameras if needed to keep everyone happy
