Please spare this environmentally critical area. This is a bald eagle nesting site and this open space deserves protection.

Talaris is a blessed city landmark. The proposed petition will impact all members of this community. This petition should adamantly be denied.

This is a rare piece of open space within the city and the proposed development should be thoroughly reviewed for best use.

Historically this site was the location of the Yessler logging mill. destruction of this area for a modern development in not in line with the forested character across the road or with the UW Natural Area. Additionally, yesterday morning I saw the local eqagle perusing its nest in preparation for this years breeding and nesting. The construction of many buildings will surely prevent future breeding at this location.

This project deserves to have a public meeting, since it is a significant piece of property in the neighborhood.

It is such a tragedy that one man who does not live in the area and does not care about the area can destroy a landmark that has has existed for decades. Certainly his name does not call forth a feeling of respect.

Seattle Landmark Preservation board members offered so many reasons why this unique architectural campus should be preserved. We need to make sure that happens if it's at all possible.

There is absolutely no upside advantage to laurelhurst neighborhood with this development. Transportation links already are saturated. The charm of this neighborhood is the peaceful places we can see and visit to calm and add value this this magical incity neighborhood. Please do not disturb this environment so a deep pocketed developer can make a buck.

If ever there were a need for the DPD to conduct a public meeting, the proposed land use of the, now landmark designated, Battelle/Talaris site is it!

A public meeting is essential. I would like to preserve the site as is, but even if this is not possible, the public's voice must be heard before this goes forward.
Public notice and involvement seems prudent!
I hope that you can safe this site.
