I was For the common core before I attended a workshop featuring Nocastro. I left convinced she and the common core are mostly about a giant money grab from public education coffers by the private sector.

Public schools are the foundation of our democracy. Charter schools exist as the "foundation" of corporate profit. They are no panacea for children. Nicastro has to go!!!
