Charter schools take PUBLIC funds and give them to for-profit charter school companies which have fared no better and often worse than public schools on measurable data points. Charters do not operate n the best interest of our children, our communities or our society at large. They do however operate in the best interest of people who are not educators and who in fact have turned the education of children into a business from which the business owners and operates profit at the expense of EVERYONE else. Check the data. Use COMPARABLE data as opposed to the hyped data that is skewed.
