The students that perform spend endless amount of hours preparing for the "big day" and deserve the best venue. The talent of these young people is so great. Applaud them with the best place to perform.

I would have loved to have seen Silver Lake school at the OAC this year since my son is moving on to a Freshman this year. A lot more tickets could have been sold and the money could have been given back to the arts/drama programs. This is the same thing with the football field. I feel that the 8th grade boys should have had that experience. A lot of them were looking forward to play their last year at the high school. I don't know if this is a political thing or not but other school districts utilize everything to benefit the kids.

When I voted for the referendum to build the OAC it was so it could be used by the students of the school district, not to be run as a business.

Being able to see these kids perform on the big stage shouldn't be an every other year option, it should be an every year given with a facility of this magnitude available within the local community! Need to make this happen for all involved, seeing it in the school cafeteria is just not the same.

The parents of all students residing in Wisconsin paid their taxes to allow that Performing Art Center to be built. It should be made available tany and all viable programs as long as the agreement is maintained.

If there are available dates for legitimate performances, they OAC should be made available. It was built with tax payers money and should not be used discreminately.

Nature Hill cafeteria is too small to accommodate all the people who want to see the show.

The OAC experience surpasses the cafeteria production in so many ways.
Starting with interest in trying out to the excitement of performances for not only the cast, but the audience as well.
Working in such an amazing facility gives students a much more realistic feel for theater.

Friend and former teacher of many performers and crew.
These children need to experience the OAC every year. Why have an amazing facility and limit the use?

It is fitting that our amazing musicals be performed at the OAC not only ever other year, but every year.
I have been a parent in the OASD for many years now, and my children, my friends' children and countless other community members' children have benefited from performing at the OAC. Even students who aren't participating in productions have had the benefit of experiencing theatre as they may not have been able to do outside the school productions.
This gorgeous, professional facility belongs to our district and has inspired so many intermediate school students to pursue drama and music at Nature Hill, Silver Lake and eventually at Oconomowoc High School.

My granddaughter was in Shrek, the production was incredible, however seeing it at the OAC would have greatly improved the sound and lighting, plus it was hard to see sitting several rows back, what a shame, because this play was spectacular! Please make this a reality for these kids and families who work so hard!

Why wouldn't you when we have this beautiful venue? It only makes sense to let each intermediate school have these wonderful plays they work so hard on and do an amazing job in an awesome place. Hope it will happen. Thanks

We actually tried to do this from the beginning but at that time the superintendent was not comfortable with it for some reason. Ironic as the stage now bears her name. The directors were willing to change the schedule around and everything so hopefully we can now finally make it happen.

Sitting on the sides, the speakers we too loud. It was difficult hearing the actors.
