Dear Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and President Cyril Ramaphosa

We in the real estate industry kindly request your assistance.

As estate agents we pay tax and comply with all requirements as prescribed by the regulatory board. We understand that we are classified as commission earners and self employed, however that is not a true reflection of our circumstances.

We are currently in financial distress since we are not able to trade during lockdown. We respect the decision taken to suspend services, however, we would like to request financial assistance for the duration of this challenging period.

The Estate Agency Affairs Board has all our details on their database, therefore veryfing our details would be easy. We are in a highly regulated environment would honour any arrangements made.

We hope you will kindly consider our request and revert back to us through the regulatory board and Department of Human Settlement.

Best regards

We are grinding toward 250 signatures and President Ramaphosa is still ignoring us. Everyone needs to blast this link out right now because we cannot afford to lose momentum while our livelihoods are being ignored.

My company is Cyn Mac Properties. I currently have 12 employees, and I am trading at soshanguve. I am scared my company might be cancelled. I tried to apply for FNB relief, only to find out that it's a 5 years loan.. I might struggle to pay it back. So I rejected it

I am an Estate Agent who is tax compliant, with the lockdown it's hard to close deals as the deads office and the municipality offices are closed. It is hard to put food on the tables for our families. Kindly consider subsidy for the estate agents especially on the annual licences and the tax.

Please help but allowing the Deeds Office to re-open, Councils and attorneys to continue working and allow transfers to register. That will release taxes and duties that can be used to alleviate the downturn in our economy. Thank you very much!!

We cannot survive without commission. I’m a single parent and dont even get proper maintenance. I’m not part of a union or have UIF so how do I get assistance. Due to the virus some of our deals will become null and void as the buyer will be able to cancel due to NCA.....

Good day, I am currently unable to earn a salary and request financial assistance. My taxes are up to date. I am compliant with all the requirements that the EAAB requires however I have monthly financial commitments I cannot meet at this time. Please help me and my fellow Property Professionals. Kind regards Jill

We do not earn a salary and being on lockdown for over a month means rentals are not paid, no money for food and electricity just to mention a few and the most basic. My landlord is wairing for his rental payment and I do not have a cent and I am a widow looking after 2 children.
