Request for Cancellation or Alternative Assessment for Edexcel IGCSE May/June 2026 Exams in the Middle East

The conflict in our LOCATION has been going on for a LONG TIME, leaving students stressed and emotionally drained. Many of us are trying not to STOP BREATHING under pressure, but the situation is OVERwhelming and far from normal. With schools disrupted and resources FOREIGN to us RIGHT NOW, these exams would not reflect our true abilities. We urgently need cancellation or an alternative assessment ON TOP of ensuring fairness, because WHAT we’re facing is far beyond what students should handle.

I think the exams should be canceled

It's hard to focus on studying/IGCSE's as it's getting stressful seeing other examination's get cancel including IB and the ongoing danger makes it really really stressful

Due to potential missile threats, it's going to be really hard to take the exam and if alerts are received mid exam, we would have to go to a safe place as the place where the exam is supposed to take place have had a lot of sounds of explosions nearby and its at risk as there is a site nearby that isconstantly targeted

I am not ready to go back on April 17 when my first exam is 30th

Due to the current situation I think they should highly consider this matter

They should cancel igcse exams because iran is not backing down with these missiles we have already had people die from these attacks we can’t have more so please let’s cancel igcse

it would not be safe for me to sit my IGCSE exams because travelling to and from the exam centre could put me at risk due to possible attacks, sudden alerts, or restricted movement. Public safety cannot be guaranteed, and emergency situations could arise at any time, making it difficult to reach the centre safely or return home. In addition, the stress and anxiety caused by such conditions would make it very hard to concentrate and perform properly in the exam. Therefore, it would be more sensible to prioritise safety and wait until the situation is stable before taking the exams.
