During this Difficult Time, I just want this to get over with. My IGCSE is something that i have anticipated since the start of year 10. Everything was going towards it until the ongoing conflict, which eventually doesn't allow us to do our exams. All we are asking is our voice to be heard.

If missiles or drones were to strike during an examination and cause casualties among students, would the examination authorities take responsibility? At the same time, many expatriates have been temporarily evacuated from the Middle East, and their children are facing serious difficulties. There is no guarantee that they will be able to return in time for their exam dates. Unless companies permit these families to return, the students will be unable to sit their exams, putting their futures at significant risk. We urgently ask for a prompt decision on this matter.

I have a 6 hour time zone difference cause I fled the war. It’s really affected my learning. I am still studying very hard, and I got all 7s and above on my mocks. I’m afraid that this change may bring my marks down.

Possible solutions could include exam cancellation with reliance on predicted grades, coursework-based assessments. Our intention is not to avoid assessment, but to ensure that all students are evaluated in a way that reflects their true capabilities without being affected by factors beyond their control.
