With A levels coming up, this has been extremely inconvenient. While we do receive daily lessons, there is a huge difference between online learning and face to face learning. Even asking a simple question becomes challenging. Not to mention how many people overseas have even more trouble studying and joining calls.

I feel so unsafe taking these exams as the stress of the situation is causing me to focus more on other stuff rather than my studies

Because of this situation that’s happening I know that I won’t be able do my best in the exam because of the online learning , the bombs , the messages at night , it traumatised me and now since the day it all started I can’t focus properly anymore, it is hard for me to start studying and I am trying but it’s also scary knowing what’s happening in the world and here so please we ask you to cancel our exams .

To have GCSEs take place in this region is unethical and ridiculous considering we have had emergency alerts and drone strikes happening for over a month. We have not been in school and the quality of online learning is not adequate to prepare us for GCSEs. Exam boards must think about the psychological and emotional aspects of this war on us. With some students even having to go to their home countries.
