Request for Cancellation or Alternative Assessment for Cambridge/Edexcel May 2026 Exams in the Middle East

I would really like you guys to recognize us children in uae not just but the children in the GCC. This Iran Israel conflict has made us all so horrified and stressed, this added stress does not allow us students to study with the full efficiency we occupy within us. Alerts everyday, morning, day and night, our phones have been ringing with this awful noise that chills us to our cores. In addition to the alerts and fear, we are missing so much content!! Due to this war our schools have been shut down for almost 2 months now and some children do not have access to good WiFi making them unable to ask for teachers help when it comes to revising, these last few months are always the most crucial when it comes to studying since if there’s anything we’re unsure about be learn here, without proper support most children won’t be able to reach there full potential. I hope you take all of this into consideration

This is already a stressful time. We should be able to sit the exams as they are for everyone. Not just coming back after war, even if it does finish.

The current regional situation has made it extremely difficult for students to focus and prepare properly for these high-stakes exams, and we strongly request a fair alternative assessment.

I find it incredibly hard to study in this time of war and the fact that we are still meant to do exams is very alarming. I feel like our exams should be cancelled

I am from Qatar and I agree with this petition as is states that most students aren’t able to fully revise for the upcoming exams as there is an ongoing conflict.

because of this current situation people may struggle with studies and supplies in order for their learning

I’d like to request for the cancellation of the may/june 2026 series of igcse cambridge board examination, as the current situation in the middle east is worsening say by day, and the students haven’t had proper teachings due to the situations. Please accept our requests

As much as these boards are important, we cannot risk our lives so suddenly as this situation is quite unpredictable. it would get cancelled either way

Considering the rise of tension among lots of us uae residents AND students, I believe our exams are not to be prioritized at the very try moment, not with the amount of stress and anxiousness we’ll be carrying walking into the room, while continuously being worried all throughout the exams themselves; not just for us, but for other lives in danger as well.
