i sign this petition in order to cancel the official IB in this region since its unfair to us, especially with all the solutions provided that were irrelevant, i sign this as leila to ensure equality, especially with the lebanese students doing the Ib

Students living under war conditions cannot safely or fairly complete IB examinations due to security risks, interrupted education, and severe psychological stress.

As an IB student in Lebanon, preparing for the 2026 external exams has become nearly impossible. Due to the ongoing war, I am no longer even living in my own home and am currently staying with around 15 other people in one house. Many of my classmates have lost their homes, been displaced, or forced to leave the country. With constant bombing, unsafe roads, and unstable electricity and internet, it is extremely difficult to study or focus on exams. After experiencing disruptions during both DP1 and DP2, it feels deeply unfair to be assessed through normal external exams under these circumstances. Allowing the non exam route would give students like us a fair opportunity to be evaluated despite the situation.

Honestly, the situation has taken away all the time i have to study in peace, i cannot sit and study without thinking about everything happening around me and the people i love. Yesterday, i had to evacuate leaving all my things behind. In situations like this our wellbeing and security should be our only concern.

our school was suspended in the beginning of dp1 and end of dp2 we havent finished our chem and bio curriculum yet cuz of the ongoing war. plus our school got damaged by the airstrikes on dahye. teachers, students lost their homes cuz of this. not only physically, but this was also affected us mentally. being scared for our lives and other ppls lives isnt something to easily comprehend while studying for an exam that decides ur future

I Am a Lebanese student who attends the American community school of Beirut. I personally believe that with the several disruptions through my academic years in grade 11 and 12 that it would be considered unfair and un logical to complete the IB exams as for the fact that exams are coming up soon, and we have not finished the syllabus in several of my classes nor have we completed all of our internal assessments. Thank you for considering.

We as ib students in Lebanon suffered a 70 day war in the beginning of dp1 with a war at the end of our journey. We went only for 4 months which worked as a barrier
